Discipleship | We pour our lives into others who, in turn, become leaders themselves.

Jesus Christ made great efforts to spend significant amounts of time alone with His disciples. He met with them and invested Himself in their lives in deep, meaningful ways. He loved them. He nurtured them. He gave of Himself that they might grow. We value this model of the calling of the twelve and realize the importance of personal discipleship and leading by example.

Our Discipleship Goals
Our goal as we disciple men and women is to build and equip them for Christian service. In particular, we strive to create servant-leaders with Christ-like qualities who will humbly, yet passionately lead others.

Christian Community and Family
Some of the believers we disciple live with us, others do not. Some have jobs to help with expenses while others work within Oasis of Grace Ministries. Some decide to attend Bible school and pursue a calling they believe God has given them. Though they may take different roads, they share a common experience of Christian community and family where the Word of God is central to their lives and an emphasis on mentoring is a core value. Oasis of Grace Ministries has a reputation for its' discipleship efforts and many come, even from neighboring countries, to participate and grow.

Community Bible Study International (CSBI)
Encouraging others to study the Bible is one of the keys to effective discipleship. Both Emmanuel and Betty serve in leadership positions with CSBI and facilitate classes and special conferences. For an CBSI South African update, please click here. CBSI_SA

in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
